improvement of portion of Imithers Street 'Ind 0ounty Ronal by
paving with brick laid on table .

BE IT ORDAIITED BY TILE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI`L'Y OF REN`1'ON:
Section 1 ; That it is theintention of the City Council tufo
order the improvement of that portion of First Avenue North desc-
ribed as follows ;
Beginning at the northerly approach of the Mill Street bridge
crossing Cedar Diver !Ind thence in a northeasterly direction
along said First .Avenue North t,) the City limits,by paving the
same with brick to a width of thirty (30) feet,and doing such other
work as may be necessary in connection taerewith,all in accorda-
ne.e with plans to be prepared by t'te City LOngineer .
Section 2; That Vie. estimated cost of said improvement is
X12130 .00 dollars .
Section 3 ; That said First Avenue North is an -arterial
street and it is the intention of the City Council to improve th-
at portion of said Avenue above described in accordance with tyle:
provisions of Chapter 51 of the Session laws of. 1913 of the ;Ita,te
of -fdashington;
action 4; That fifty per cent o`' -'_Le cost of said improve-
rent will be of special benefit to the property abutting on said
street and in the improvement district to be hereafter created
according to law,and shall be paid by an a sse�ssment levied on
said property; that twenty-five per cent of the cost of said imp-
rovement shall be paid out of the general fund of. the City of
Renton; and t'1at the remaining twenty-five per cent of the cost
of said improvement shall be chargeable to King County,State of
W%shington,and shall be paid by the Board of County Commi stoners
in the manner provided by law.
