The City Council of the City of Renton do ordain as follou�rs:
SECTION I: That the riparian rights of tne ov�ers of Tract
No. 1 Spring Brook Acre Tracts in the Northeast quarter (NE?) of
Section 6, 'I'v��p. �2 Narth, Ra�.ge 5 E. �. ?�T. excex�t the following des-
cribed portion of Tract No. 1:
"Beginning at the southeast corner post of Tract No. 1 Spring
Brook Acre Tracts, King County, Udashington, accoraing to plat there�f
recorded in Vol. 12 of' 11ats, page 60 Records o�' King County, ���ashing-
ton; runi�ing thence west 40 rods to a square post; thence north 8 rods
to a square post; thence east to a square post at the intersection of
- the county road; thence southwes�terly to the aforesaid southeast corner
post of said tract, the same being the point of beginning,"
in and to the stream of water kx�oyan as S�ring Brook creek flowing
-through said TRact No. 1 from TTact No. 9 0�' said Spring Brook Acre
tracts, shall be and the same is hereby ordered acquired by eondemna-
tion. fbr the �urpose of acquirin� an adequate su�ply of f'resh water
for the City of Renton, Washin�nn, by diverting from said stream.
500,000 gallons of water per day, the sam� �to be i�. addition to the
1,000,000 gallons oz' water �er day acquired by condemnation by the
City oi Renton in Cause No. 67178 in the Superior Court of the State of
V�ashington for King County.
SECTION II: Compensation for Lhe land, property and �roperty
rights ordered conde�.ed herein shall be paid to the ��wners of said
lamd, property and property riohts from the general fund of the city
of Ren.ton, Washington, or from such other fund as shall be designated
by the City Council. ,
SECTION III: U�on the passage, approval and legal publica�ion
of this ordinance, the Ci.ty Attorney is hereby authorized and oraered to
file in the Superior Court c�f King County, State of VVashington, a
proper pet�ion praying that just co��ensation be made for the private
property to be taken or damaged for the improvernent herein specif ied
in the manner provided by statute in such case made and provided.
SECTION IV: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
five days from and after its passage, approval and legal publication.
