AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF 't',�],6
following deserib�d property: -
Begi.nning at the south margia, of' �'�alla 6`��lla A�enue
in the center of the alley, Block 5, Smithers 5th Addition
to Renton; the proposed 8'� lateral runs so�th 437 feet more
or less to the main sewer .line on 6th �lvenue •

improveiner�t district therefor, and providing that payment for said improveuient be made by special
assessments upou property in said district payable by the mode of "Payment by Bonds."
TI3E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLO�VS:
Section -1,: That the following deseribed propert�: Beginning at the
south mar�in of `�alla ��alla Avenue iri the center of the alley,
Block 5, S�nithers 5th Addition to Renton; the proposed 8" lateral
runs south 437 feet more or less to the main sewer line on 6th

construetion of a sewer
and that such other work be done as inay be necessary in connection therewith, according to the plans and
specifications therefor prepared under the direction of the City �ngineer and on file in the office of the City
� Clerk.
Section 2: That the cost and expense of said improvement, inciuding all necessary and incidentai
eipenses, shall be borne by and assessed against the property inciuded in the assessment district herein-
after created iu accordance with law. The City of Reuton shall not be lia.ble in any manner for any por-
tion of the cost and espense of said improvement, except as herein provided.

Section 3: That there is hereby established a local improvement district to be called "Local Im-
provement District No._�Os�2_._._," which said district is described as follo���s: ` ;
`All the property between the termini of said improvement a.butting upon, adjacent, vacinal or
Dloximate to such portion of said streets and avenues to a distance back from the marginal lines thereof, as
provided by law."
Section 4: Bonds bearing interest at the rate oP_____6_.__.._. per cent. per annum payable on or before
...___.8.8Y6II_.__...years froin the date of issuance shall be issued in payinent of the cost and expeuse of this
improvement, which bonds shall be redeemed by the collection of special assessments to be levied and
assessed upon the property within said district, payaUle in___5_...___.___.equal annua,l installinents with interest at
the rate of_..___._f?__..__.__per cent. per annum under the mode of "Payment by I3onds," as defined by law a.nd
the charter and ordinances of the City of Renton. These bonds shall be delivered to tlie �contractor in
redemption of warrants on the Local Improvement District Fur.d issued on estimates of the City Engineer,
or the City of Renton inay, at its election, sell said bonds and make such redemption in cash.
Section 5: This ordivance shall be in full force and effect fi�re (5) days froin and after its passage,
a.pgrova,l and legal pubiication.
