The City Ccuncil of t�ie Cit�T of Rer_tan Da Ordain as Folloti�ts:
SECTTO�V l. That t:�ie �.ctive members of the P�enton Voll,�nteer
Fire Depart�ert shall be paid co�pens�.tion at t��e rate of �26.00
�er year. Such payment s�iall be ma�e by the City as herein provided
for not more than 25 members of sa�.d Volunteer Fire Department.
No comnensation shall be paid 'py the City ior r�embers of sai� Fire
l�ep�rtment e�ho are electec�. City officials of tY�e �ity af Renton.
SE�TIOi� 2. On or beiore the 19th aay of Decer�ber of each
ye�.r•, beginning in the year 1°39, the secretdry oi said Fire
Department shall file ��r�.th the City Clerk a certifie� statement
as to the number of inembers of said Volunteer Fire i�epart�rient
during the previous year, together ��:ith a state�ent af their
services at the rate of �26.00 per yea-r. IIpon tY�e approval of
saia sta.tement so filed, payr�ent ah�.11 be maa.e �trleref'or dir•ect
to the r�enton Volvnteer Fire Depart�ent far the total amount �ue
for all of saia �embers so certified as aforesaic�.
