RENTO�T, as followa :
Section lr That the lats and parcel� of la.nd in the
�ity of Renton have become infested �rith the pest commonly
knorrn, as earwigs ; th�.t an emergency exists , and, therefore,
the City cf Renton hereby grants ta the officers cr accredited
agents cf the State of �ashington and of King Gounty the right
to visit and exa.mine every lot and parcel of land in the City
of Renton for the pur�ose of discoverin� whether sa�id lats or
�arcels of land are infested with the pest commonly known as
earwigs ; and the officers or accredited agents a.re also
granted the right and wre empowered to spread insecticides and
earwig bait over the premises for the purpose of exterrninating
said earwigs.
�ection 2: It shall be unlawful for any person or
persans tn interfere �vith or undertake to restrain said officers
or agents from vi si ting and examining the premises as herein-
before provided, cr tznderta.king to restrain or interfere wi th
the officers or agents in spreading insecticides or ear�rig
b�.it cver said premises. Any person Triolatin�; �hi.s �rdinance
misdeameanor and upon conviction thereof shall�e fined in a sum not
.=�.s herein set fcrth shall be deemed guilty of ��X��'�
less tn�n �2.50 or rnore than Ten (�10. 4C� Dollars.
Section 3: This ordinance shall xake effect �.nd be
in full force and effect fi�e days from and after its passage ,
approval and le�al publicati on.
