Sectiar� 1: It shall be unlawful for any person
to �perate a, motor vehicle upon the etreets or higYi-
v�ays Withir� the City Iimits of the Gity of Renton,
whi�..e under t�.e influence of intoxicating liquor or
of any narcotic drug. tJpon a first conviction for
�riolation of the provisions of this section, the
court shall impo�e a fine of not less than fifty
dollars �$50.00� or thirty days in jail, or both,
nvr more than one hundred dollars (�100.00} ar thirty
days in jail, or both. Upon a second convietian for
a �iolation of the prc�visions of this section, it
shall be the duty of the court to impase a fine of
nat less than one hundred dollars ��lOQ.04� or
ninety days in jail, nor more than three hundred
d�2lars (�300.00� or ninety (90� days in �ail, or
hy both such fine and imprisonment.

Section 4: �is Ordinance shall be i� full force
