ORDAIN AS FOLLO�fS:
Section 1:� THAT �IHEREAS the only fire�truck owned by the
Citq of Renton ia in such condition that it was imposeible to
r each the place of a recent fire on the hill, and
�PHEREAS in makin� up the budget for the current fiscal
year it could not reaaonably havc� been forseen that anch ex�
�anditures would become necesgary, and
1`�HEREAS by rea,son of the peculiar circumstances and tha exi��-
encies herein existing it has become necessarq for the �ity to incur
expenses to provide for the immediate protection of the City,
v�HFREAS it ie esti atec�<.that a f�te.��ruck such as would

specific�lly mentioned in Section 6, Cha,pter 158, Session
Laws of 1923;
NO�, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that �here be and here�

Section a. This ordinance shall not be ps,esed until

unanimoa�s vote of the members of the Council present and
the appraval of the Mayor.
