Sec 1:That in the opinion of the City Council of the City of
�Zer�tozl, k`�ashington, it is extremely dangeraus to the general pu'alic
and t-ra�fie �long the streets therein for motor trucks to haul logs
in egcesa of forty (40) feet in length.
Sec. 2: Th�t no o�.er or operator of a�y six wheeled motor or
other truck shall haul a�y log alon� the public streets within the
�ity of Re�ton, more than forty (40) feet long, pro�rided, however,

that this shall not be eonstrued`prohibitin� t he hauling of telephone
�rd telegra�ih poles or piling more than forty (40) feet in length.
Sec. 3; gll logs shall be loaded ��i th the butt end ta the front
and the v¢eight so distributed as to xest as near equal as possible
on th� front and rear wheels and it is hereby decl�red unlawful to
loe�d logs with the arv�er-hanging portion so distributed as to make
th e rear wheels carry more than one-half the load.
Sect 4; An.y person violat ing this ordina.nce or any �ection
thereof shall npon conviction be fined in sny sUm not exceeding One
Hundred (�100.0�) �ollars nor less than F ifty (�50 .00} Dollars or
imprisone3 in the ci ty jail not to exceed thirty (30 ) da�s or �y
ba th su ch f i�e and imprisonment.
