Section l: That the Police and License Committee of the �
City of Renton, Ytiashington, is hereby authorized, empov�ered and
directed to enter into a rental agreement v,�ith the manufacturers
n '
of a parking meter for the use on the streets oP the City of . ,
r�enton, w�ashin�ton, as authorized and directed in Ordinance No. �
1143, of the City oF Renton, w�lashington, of adequate parkin.g meters,
such rental agreement to run for a period of one year from date of
execution thereof, and to provide that meters shall be installed at`
the sole cost and expense of the manufacturers thereo#', and that a
rental shall be paid by the City to the manufaetu�er� thereof of
seventy-five (75) percent of the grosa receipts of eaeh such park-
ing meter, said agreement to further provide that at the option of
the City at the end of said twelve month period, such �ental shall
be,�redited by the m�nufacturers of such meters upon the purehase
price thereof, sueh purehase price to be set forth in such rental
agreement.
Seetion 2: The revenue from sueh meters during said one
year period shall be collected by the City, and the mo�.ey� re-
ceived therefrom disbursed as herein provided.
Section 3: This Ordinance �shall be in t'ull foree and
effect five days from and after its passage, approval and legal
publication.
