THE CITY C4UNCIL OF THE CITY 4F RENTON DO ORD�iIN AS '
�'OI�OWS:
�ection 1: That whereas the City of Renton has hereto-
fore appropri�ted the sum of �I5,000.00 Por the purpose of
constructing quarters for the fire department of the City of
Renton, and
Whereas due to the increased cost of materials the amount
heretofore appropriated has proven inadequate and it is neces-
sary that an additional sum of �5000.00 be made avail�ble to
pay Por the cost oP completing said fire hall and no provision
was made in the budget for the year 194�Por such additional
cost, it is necessary that an emergency appropriation be made
to cover the same.
Section 2: In consideration of tYze emergency found to
� exist as stated _ in �ection 1, hereof, that it be and hereby
is appropriated in addition to the amount of the budget for
the year 1942 , the sum of �5000.00 out of the general fwnd for
the purpose of paying the additional cost of constructing quarters
for the fir•e department of the City of Renton.
�ection 3: The City Council o� the City of Renton does
hereby declare that in view of the facts recited in �ection 1
hereoP, that they have found an emergency to exist.
Section 4: This Ordinance shall not be passed until at
least one week after its introduction and it shall require the
unani.m.ous vote of th� Councilmen present and the approval oP
the Mayor.
