CALL TO ORDER:
The December meeting was called to order at 8:12 a.m.by T.Nelson.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Motion made by D. Law, Seconded by J. Phelan and Carried to approve the minutes for the
month of November 27,2007 Regular. The motion carried.
CORRESPONDENCE:
A letter was received from the physician of retiree 9168 as a follow-up to the massage therapy
and treatment plan authorized by the Board in February, 2007. The physician has referred the
retiree to physical therapy for core trunk stabilization as well as a neuromassage therapist for
massage on a weekly basis for his chronic back condition. A motion was made by D. Law for
staff to request a progress report from the physician 90 days after the treatment plan begins. The
motion was seconded by J.Phelan and carried.
LINFINISHED BUSINESS:
None.
NEW BUSINESS:
An application for disability leave was received from active member 04333 who experienced a
detached retina. Surgery has been completed and he is recovering. B. Deines moved to approve
the non-duty disability leave beginning January 12, 2008. The motion was seconded by D. Law
and carried.

APPROVAL OF BILLS:
The Board Members reviewed the claims processed under the Secretary's authority during
November/December,2007.
C OMMENTS/ANNOUNCEMENTS:
The proposed meeting scheduled for 2008 is the fourth Tuesday of each month. The time will be
determined after the first meeting which is Tuesday,January 22 at 8:00 a.m.
ADJOURNMENT:
There being no further business, a motion was made by J. Phelan and seconded by D. Law to
adjourn the meeting. The motion carried and the meeting was adjourned at 8:25 a.m.
