CALL TO ORDER•
The January meeting was called to order at 8:10 a.m.by T.Nelson.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Motion made by J.Phelan,Seconded by R Anderson and Curried to approve the minutes for
the month of December 2006 Regular Meeting.
CORRESPONDENCE:
None
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
Active LEOFF 1 Member 7020 has been on disa�bi�ity leave since September 11, 2006.
J. Phelan maved to send Member 7020 for the appropriate examination. The motion was
seconded by R.Anderson and approved.
NEW BUSINESS:
None.
APPROVAL OF BILLS•
A request was received from Retiree 7924 requesting payment of pneumonia shot
administered by his physician October 6, 2006. The cost of the immunization is $73.00.

R. Anderson moved to pay for the immunization and J. Phelan seconded. The motion
, was approved.
The Boazd Members re�+iewed fhe claims processed under the Secretary's authority during
January,2007.
COMMENTS/ANNOUNCEMENTS•
The son of a retiree cunently in a long term care facility requested information through
the Board Secxetary on the fiequency the Board intends to review the rates paid for long
terrn care. The Board advised the rate wili be reviewed every two to three years. The
family can submit a request for consideration for additional payment to the Board if they
choose.
The mceting schedule for 2007 is: January 23, February 27, March 27, April 24, May
22, June 26,July 24, August 28, SEptember 25, October 23,November 27 and December
18.
M. Webby reminded the LEOFF Boa�+d a meeting to discuss long term care is scheduled with the
LEOFF 1 Retired Firefighters at their regular Retirce Association Meeting on Febn�ary 1.
Representatives from the Retired LEOFF 1 Police Officers have besn invited to attend as well.
The next meeting of the LEOFF Board is February 27 at 8:00 a.m.in the HR Conference Room.
