CALL TO ORDER:
The March meeting was called to order at 7:58 a.m.by J.Phelan.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
` � Motion made by K. Parker, seconded by G. Taylor and carried to approve the minutes of the
February, 2008 Regular Meeting. The motion carried.
CORRESPONDENCE:
Staff provided an update on the request by Retiree 0586 for payment of an immunization not
covered by our medical plan. The immunization was a flu shot and a payment has been initiated.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
A request was reviewed from Retiree 9082 regarding low level laser therapy on his left side
similar to the treatment provided on his right side. T'he request was considered and a motion
made by K. Parker and seconded by G. Taylor to approve up to ten treatments with a follow-up
report at the conclusion of the treatments. The motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS:
A disability leave/retirement application was received from Active Member 04460.He developed
severe lrnee arthritis from a duty related injury as well as disc disease with related hip pain. R.
Anderson moved and G. Taylor seconded the duty related disability effective March 22, 2008.
The motion carried.

APPROVAL OF BILLS:
Board Members reviewed the claims processed under the Secretary's authority during
February/March,2008.
COMMENTS/ANNOUNCEMENTS:
The LEOFF Conference is scheduled for May 6 through 9 in Port Angeles, Washington. Board
members should notify T. Shuhart if they plan to attend.
The meeting schedule for 2008 is 8:00 a.m. on January 22,February 26,March 25,Apri122,May
27,June 24,July 22,August 26, September 23, October 28,November 25 and December 16.
ADJOURNMENT:
There being no further business,the meeting was adjourned at 8:20 a.m.
