AGREEMENT FOR PERMISSIVS USE RtCORDER
DINO PATAS and TOULA PATAS, husband and wi.fe, herein-
after referred to as "Owners" and the CITY OF RENTON, hereinafter
referred to as "City" , hereby agree as follows:
That Dino Patas and Toula Patas are owners in fee simple of
the following described real property:
The south 5 feet of Lot 2; and the north
half of Lot 3; All in Block 10, Town of
,- Renton, according to the plat thereof : _ .
recorded in Volume 1 of Plats, page 135,

to seal said doorway to meet the requirements of building code
and to provide the required exit elsewhere. whenever the City
I determines- that it would be in the best interest of the City to
do so. •

The parties hereto acknowledge that the granting of the es-
tablishment of the doorway is a permissive granting by the City
and in no way limits the City's rights under this Permissive Use
Agreement to require the closing off of said doorway.
Should the City desire said doorway to be sealed, the owners I
of said property, their heirs and assigns shall sea� said doorway
in an expeditious fashion and to the satisfaction of the City.
The obligations upon the owner contained within this docu-
ment are a cov ant running with the land.

Subject• Agreement for Permissive Use on Ben's Loan Building
You forwarded me a memo, together with a copy of the Agreement for Permissive Use, to allow
Ben's Loan building to have a second fire exit. The.agreement is in generally acceptable legal form.
However, there needs to be added a sentence which reads as follows:

' "The obligations upon the owner contained within this document are a
covenant running with the land." �
Additionally, the signatures of the owners needs to be notarized. Finally, when the document is
signed, it needs to be filed with the county'for notice pur�oses. The filing is done through the City
Clerk's office with the King County Auditor. � '
