' � KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That the Municipality of Metropolitan Seattle, a municipal
corporation of the State of Washington, hereinafter called the
"Municipality" , for and in consideration of the sum of One and
No/100 Dollars ($1.00) and other valuable consideration to it
in hand aid b the Cit of Renton a munici a1 co

the State of Washington, hereinafter called the "City" , the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, does by these presents convey
grant, bargain, sell and deliver unto the City of Renton 2 ,846 '
of 12" C.I. Water Main, 1,772 ' of 10" C.I. Water Main, 3 10" valves,
4 12" valves, 3 6" service tees, 1 10" service tee, and 1 12"
service tee, now located and installed within the following
described property in the City of Renton, County of King, State
of Washington, to wit:
Portions of Government Lots 2 and 6 , of the NE 1/4 of the
NW 1/4 , of the SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 , and of the NW 1/4 of
the SE 1/4 , ALL in Section 24 , Township 23 North, Range 4
East, W.M. , King County, Washington, said portions being
described as follows:
1. A strip of land 10 feet in width lying 5 £eet on each
side of the following described center line: Beginning
at a point on a line distant 5 feet easterly of and
parallel with the west line of 80th Avenue South said �'
point being distant 45 feet + southerly along said line
from the intersection thereof with the north line of '
South 153rd Street; thence northerly along said par-
allel line a distance of 105 feet; thence North 44°11'
13" West to intersection with the west line of 80th
Av�nue South; said point being 70 feet northerly of
the northwest intersection of 80th Avenue South and i
South 153rd Street and said point being �hereinafter
referred to as Point "A" ;
2. ALSO, a strip of land 20 feet in width lying 10 feet on
each side of the following described center line:

Beginning at previously described Point "A" , thence
I North 44°11'13" West to a point of terminus on the
' southerly margin of Secondary State Highway No. 1-L
(formerly State Highway No. 5-1) ; said point being
hereinafter referred to as Point "B" ; (Private property) -
A subordination agreement was given to the State of
Washington on this property to allow Primary State
Highway No. 1RE to cross sewer line and Permit No. 2394
was issued to the Municipality for the crossing;
3. ALSO, a strip of land 10 feet in width crossing
Secondary State Highway No. 1-L and lying 5 feet
on each side of the following described center line:
Beginning at previously described Point "B" ; thence
North 44°11'13" West 20 feet; thence North 20°34 '59"
West to point of terminus on the northerly line of
Secondary State Highway No. 1-L, said point being
referred to as Point "C" (also covered in State
Highway Permit No. 2394) ;
i 4. ALSO, a strip of land 20 feet in width lying 10 feet ��
on each side of the following described center line:
Beginning at heretofore described Point "C" ; thence
North 20°34 ' 59" West to a point of terminus on the
south line of Puget Sound Electric Railway Right of
° Way said point being hereinafter referred to as
I Point "D" , (Private property, Long Acres Trailer
Park and Kero) ;
5. ALSO, a strip of land 10 feet in width crossing the
Puget Sound Electric Railway Right of Way 5 feet on
each side of the following described center line:
Beginning at heretofore described Point "D" ; thence
North 20°34 'S9" West to a point of terminus on the
southerly margin of the Right of Way of the Northern
Pacific Railway Company at RR Station 1243+79.25;
6 . ALSO, a strip of land 10 feet in width crossing the
Right of Way of the Northern Pacific Railway Company
and lying 5 feet on each side of a center line at
RR Station 1243+79.25, ALSO, the North 5 feet of the
Northern Pacific Railway Right of Way between RR
Stations 1243+73.25 and 1244+13.25 ;
7. ALSO, a strip of land 20 feet in width, the southerly
' margin of said strip being the northerly line of the
100 foot wide Northern Pacific Railway Company's Right
of Way lying between RR Station 1243+73.25 on the east
and a line distant 470 feet easterly, as measured at
right angles from the north-south center line of said
Section� 24 , on the West, (easement to Renton Treatment
Plant) - The Pacific Coast Railroad Co. wanted to issue
a separate easement directly to Renton. We furnished
a description of the easement to the Railroad Co. but
whether they actually issued the easement to Renton,
we do not know;

8. ALSO, a strip of land 10 feet in width lying inside
, the perimeter of the Municipality's Renton Treatment I
Plant site and adjoining the west and north lines
thereof, said west and north lines being more
I particularly described as follows: Beginning at a
point on the north line of the Right of Way of the
Northern Pacific Railway Company at a point distant
470 feet easterly as measured at right angles from
the north-south center line of saicl Section 24 ; thence
North 0°55 'll" East 1402.37 feet; thence North 89°
04 ' 49" West 1046 .33 feet to the east line of 72nd
Avenue South; said point being hereinafter referred
to as Point "E" ;
9. ALSO, the easterly 10 feet of 72nd Avenue South from
heretofore described Point "E" , thence southerly
a distance of 260 feet, more or less, to intersection
with an existing water line running westerly from the
existing water storage tank on the Municipality's ,
Renton Treatment Plant site. I
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same to the City of Renton, its successors I
and assigns forever and the Municipality for itself and its
successors covenants and agrees to and with the City, its
successors and assigns that the Municipality is the owner of the
said property, goods and chattels and has gvod right and authority
to se11 the same and that it will warrant and defend the sale
hereby made unto the City, its successors and assigns against all I�'
and every person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to clai.m
the same.
