Recently RCW 49.60(Disc 'r�nation)was updated to include sexual orientation. This change affects Rule 1.03 both Police and Fire. Rule 4.06 in both Police and Fire indicates the minutes will be recorded with a tape recorder,and since we no longer record the minutes with a tape recorder,the rule should be changed. In Fire rule 20 needs to be updated since the department eliminated a position. The following are the affected rules with the changes indicated. Rule 20—Class Snecifications For the Uniformed Fire Service: Revise rule 20,eliminate(20.15)Data Base Systems Technician position. Tuis position was transfened from the Fire Department to the Finance and Information Services Department to fund a creation of a Business Systems Analyst.
