EASEMENT
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That ALBERT 8. BALCH and EDITH A. BALCH, his wife, hereinafter
� referred to as "party of the first part" for and in consideration of One and No/100
($1 .00) Dollars and other good and valuable consideration, receipt of which is

� hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant, release and convey unto the CITY OF
RENTON, a Municipal Corporation of the State of Washington, as "Party of the
Second part" , an easement appurtenant and perpetual over, on and to the follow-
ing described property, located in King County, State of Washington, to-wit:
The north 15 feet of the following described property:
All that portion of the southeast one-quarter of the southeast
one-quarter of Section 8, Township 23 North, Range 5 East,
W. M. , lying northerly of the north line of Windsor Hills
Addition according to the plat recorded in volume 38 of plats,
pages 22-23, and corrected by plat recorded in volume 39 of
plats, page 38, records of King County, Washington;
easterly of Sunset Boulevard East; and westerly of "E" Street
(116th Avenue Southeast);. `
for the construction, improvement, repair and maintenance of a Water Main.
Grantor shall have the right to fully use and enjoy the above described
premises, except as to the rights herein granted.
In exercising the rights herein granted, the Grantee, its successors and
assigns, may pass and repass over said north 15 feet of said property, rnay
cut and remove brush, trees and other obstructions which in the opinion of the
Grantee interferfere with its construction, improvement, repair and maintenance
of said Water Main.
The covenants herein contained shall run with the land and are binding
upon all subsequent owners thereof.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, The said Grantors have executed this instrument
this 9th day of August, i967.

of Edith A. Balch also therein described, and acknowledged to me that he signed
and sealed the same as his voluntary act and deed and as the free and voluntary
act and deed of said Edith A. Balch, for the uses and purposes therein mentioned,
and on oath stated that the power of attorney authorizing the execution of this
instrument ha s not been revolked and that the said Edith A. Balch is now living.
