AND �i�1IN�ENkTdCE OF BILL-BO�R9S V�ITHTN T�.E CTTY OF RF�TTON, WASHTNGTQN,
�;ND P.RGUS�I�TG k PENALTY FOR VTUL�ITION HEREOF.
The Cit� Cauncil of the City of Renton Do Ord�in as Follo�Ts:
SECTIDI� 1. That no person, company, co-�artnership or corporution
sha1.1 erect or maintain any bill-baard in the Ci ty of Renton, GF�'ash�.ngton
without first ha�ring obtained a permit therefor a.s herein provided.
SECTION 2. l�ny person, company, co�partnersY�ip or corporation
desiring to erect a bi�l-board in the City of Renton, V�ashington,
shall file an applicatian therefor wi,th the City Clerk. Said
application shall specify the Ioca.t�.on of such proposed bill-bozrd
and the dimens�.ans thereof. Such applicat3.on shall be referre�. by
the City Clerk to the City Cauncil of the City of Renton, t�iashing-
tan and no such bill-baard. shall be erecteci or maintai�ed unless
and unti.I: the Council, by mot�.or_, shall have grantefl the petition
� therefor.
SECTION 3. The provisians of this Ordi.nance shall apply to
all persons, companies, co-partnerships or corporations v�hether
licensed or unZi.censed under the pravisions of Grda�nance No. 184.
SECTTON 4. Any person vio�.ating this Orca.i�ance or an3r section
thereof, sha31 be guilty of a m3.sd.emeanor and upor� conviction
shall be punished by a f3.ne of not to exceed one hundreci (�100.00}
dolTars or imprisoned not to exceed thirty (30) days or by both such
fine and imprisonment.

SECTTON 5. This 4rdina.nce shall be in f�ll force a.nd effect
five (5) days frora and after its passa.ge, apprvval and legal
publication. .
