1. CALL TO ORDER: Commission Vice Chair Prince called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL: Commissioner Drollinger called roll. Commissioners Giometti, High,an� Regge were absent and
excused.
3. CORRESPONDENCE RECEIVED: None
4. AUDIENCE COMMENTS: None
5. COMMISSIONER COMMENTS: None
6. DIRECTOR'S REPORT:
• Chip is attending the Planning Director's Conference this week. In his absence,lennifer reported that
the Shoreline Master Program was not approved at last Monday's Council meeting. It was referred to
the Committee of the Whole for further discussion at the September 27 meeting.
• Staff is working on a few appeals. There was an appeal to the Superior Court regarding the Walmart
expansion, an appeal to the Shoreline Hearings Board regarding the Hawks Landing project, and an
appeal regarding the Eagle Ridge development.
7. PARKS, RECREATION,OPEN SPACE, & NATURAL RESOURCES PLAN PRESENTATION:
Leslie Betlach, Parks Planning& Natural Resources Director, and Vanessa presented information regarding
this plan. They discussed what the plan will do and why it is important.
8. COMMISSIONER COMMENTS:The next Commission meeting will be on September 29, 2010.
