IN THE MATTER OF SR 405, Renton to Kennydale;
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that the STATE OF WASHINGTON,
(Grantor) for and in accordance with that agreement of the parties entitled TB 1-0098 dated the
Sth day of April, 1996, hereby conveys and quitclaims unto CITY OF RENTON, a municipal
corporation in the State of Washington, (Grantee) all right, title, and interest under the
jurisdiction of the Department of Transportation, in and to the following described real property
situated in King County, State of Washington:
That portion of the West half of the Southeast quarter of Section 8, Township 23
North, Range 5 East, W.M., shown hachured on the attached E�ibit"A". i
The specific details concerning all of which may be found on sheets 1 of that certain plan
entitled SR 405, Renton to Kennydale, now of record and on file in the office of the Secretary of
Trarisportation at Olympia, Washington,bearing date of approval April 12, 1955.
It is understood and agreed that the above referenced property is transferred for
road/street purposes only, and no other use shall be made of said property without the prior
� written approval of the grantor. It is also understood and agreed that the grantee, its successors

Subject• Turnback Deed, SR 405, Kennydale to Renton, TB1-0098 .
I have reviewed the Quitclaim Deed and the same is approved as to legal form. My prior
objections were overruled by other City policy considerations, and we signed a turnback
agreement with the state. This deed is part of that agreement. However, by accepting this deed
we accept more responsibility for the area drainage problems.

not yet convey any title. Your approval should be indicated by signing your
name on the Iine provided. Do not have your signature ackno�vledged.
After you have signed the instrument as requested,please return it and a check
for the $11.00 recording fee payable to the King County Auditor and a check for
the Excise Affidavit processing fee in the amount of$2.00 payable to the King
County Treasurer. We will then have the instrument executed and recorded. It
will be returned to you after recording. ,
