MAYOR Honorable Charles Delaurenti Members of the City Council Subject: Easement Release Invest-West/Rainier Village Sanitary Sewer Easement Dear Mayor Delaurenti and Members of the Council: It is the recommendation of the Public Works Department to accept the easement agreement attached hereto, relinc, uishing a 1949 easement to the City of Renton, recorded under AF No. 5475308; and accepting the new easement alignment for the sanitary sewer as described in Exhibit A. The 1949 easement extends north, past the manhole at the northerly terminus of the pipe. The corrected easement covers the sanitary sewer pipe as built, and surveyed per survey drawing for Rainier Village, a copy of which is also attached. The northerly portion of the 1949 easement has never been utilized and now lies under an existing building. Therefore the 1949 easement should be released and terminated by this action. Upon execution of the easement agreement the 1949 easement will be re- leased and the new easement will be recorded in its place. Very truly yours, Warreri C.
