HomeMy WebLinkAboutDB 7604050675 Form 136 CITY OF RENTON BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS FINDING OF FACT AND ORDER Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 21, Title IV, Code of General Ordinances entitled Dangerous Building Code and the complaint of the Building Director dated February 4 , 1976 fixing the date, time and place of a hearing to hear testimony of the Building Director and all parties in interest, said hear- ing was held in the Council Chambers, Renton Municipal Building, Renton, Wash- ington beginning at 9 : 00 o'clock A.m. , March 3 , 1976 The Complaint Applies to Property Located at: Address: 1166 Monroe Avenue NE 1-0 s,0 Legal Description: The N 105 ' of the S 230 ' of the W 228 ' of the N 5 acres of the W 2 of the NW 4 of the NE 4 of Section 9 , Township 23 North , Range '- 5 East , W.M. , in King County, Washington. • Parties of Interest: Douglas R. Hendel Dale E . Kremer Highlands Terrace Corporation Names and Addresses of Respondents Present: None present . Representing the Complainant: Ronald G. Nelson Correspondence Received: After hearing evidence from the above parties present and reviewing the corres- pondence, the Board finds: 1 . The Complaint of the Building Official is justified. 2 . The subject building is a "dangerous building" as defined in Section 4- 2102 of the Dangerous Building Code and is therefore a public nuisance . 3 . It is unreasonable to repair the building within the standards established in Section 4- 2103 of the Dangerous Building Code . THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS HEREBY ORDERS: 1. That the building be -repaired to present-Building Code standards or the building be demolished ; 2 . That sixty (60) days shall be sufficient time to accomplish said order. Parties affected by this Finding of Fact and Order have the right of appeal to the Building Appeals Commission at the office of the Building Director within thirty (30) days of the date of service of this decision or order.
