G. Taylor moved and J. Matthew seconded approval of the minutes of January
Greg Taylor 25, 2010. The motion carried.

None.
CORRESPONDENCE
Request from Retiree 0746 for reimbursement of a medical expense not
typically covered by the plan. Upon review of the letter of inedical necessity, J.
Matthew moved to approve, G. Taylor seconded. Motion carried.
Request from Retiree 8117 for reimbursement of a hearing aids in the amount
of $5,600.00. G. Taylor moved to approve, J. Matthew seconded. Motion

Board Members reviewed the claims processed under the Secretary's authority during January
2011.

G. Taylor brought up discussion again of how to educate and empower our members to utilize �
cost-saving measures for the benefit of the plan. Will draft newsletter and present to city
attorney for feedback on how to educate without trying to dictate.
Meeting schedule for 2011: January 25, February 22, March 22, April 26, May 24,June 28,July
26, August 23, September 27, October 25, November 22, and December 20
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business of the Board, G. Taylor moved and J. Matthew seconded the
adjournment of the meeting at 8:14 a.m.
