Chair,Jim Phelan called the meeting to order at 4:30 pm.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Review of the minutes from the October 23, 2012 meeting.

a) Approval of the Electronic Home Detention Jailer Classification

b) Police Chief Kevin Milosevich proposed removing the Deputy Police Chief from Civil Service while
retaining the Civil Service rank of Commander. Brian Sandler distributed RCW 41.12.050, which
describes the process for removing employees in the Police Department from Civil Service. There was
discussion regarding the benefits and concerns of removing the Deputy Police Chief. There was a
motion to table the vote until the next Civil Service meeting.
