Vice Chair, Bill Larson called the meeting to order at 4:30 pm.

Review of the minutes from the August 28,2012 meeting.

a) Approval of the Police Officer Classification—
Detective Catherine Citron posed a question from the Guild regarding the Lateral
qualifications listed in the new Police Officer classification. There was discussion about the
requirements of the Lateral Police Officer and concern whether or not the candidate had
actual patrol experience. The Police Officer Classification was approved as written.

b) It was announced that the retirement of Deputy Chief Tim Troxel was effective 8/31/12
