Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 21 , Title IV, Code of General Ordinances
entitled Dangerous Building Code and the complaint of the Building Director
dated SEPTEMBER 26TH 197 2 fixing the date, time and place of a hearing to
hear testimony of the Building Director and all parties in interest, said hear-
ing was held in the Council Chambers, Renton, Municipal Building, Renton, Wash-

LETTER DATED OCTOBER 23, 1972 FROM HENRY T. RUGGLES
After hearing evidence from the above parties present and reviewing the corres-
pondence, the Board finds :
1 . THE COMPLAINT OF THE BUILDING DIRECTOR IS JUSTIFIED.
2. THE SUBJECT BUILDINGS ARE DANGEROUS BUILDINGS AS DEFINED IN SECTION 4-2102
OF THE DANGEROUS BUILDING CODE AND ARE THEREFORE A PUBLIC NUISANCE.
3.
THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS HEREBY ORDERS:
1. THE BUILDINGS ARE NOT TO BE OCCUPIED.
2. THE BUILDINGS BE CLOSED TO UNAUTHORIZED ENTRY IMMEDIATELY.
3. THE BUILDINGS BE REMOVED FROM THE PROPERTY BY OCTOBER 10, 1973, INCLUDING
FINAL CLEAN UP OF THE PREMISES, FILLING OF SEPTIC TANKS , AND REMOVAL OF
DEBRIS FROM THE PROPERTY. •
4. IF THE BUILDINGS ARE NOT CLOSED TO UNAUTHORIZED ENTRY WITHIN SIXTY (60)
DAYS OF THIS DATE, THE CITT'Y OF RENTON WILL TAKE ACTION TO HAVE THE
BUILDINGS DEMOLISHED.
Parties affected by this Finding of Fact and Order have the right of appeal to
the Building Appeals Commission at the office of the Building Director within
thirty (30) days of the date of service of this decision or order.
