Chair Jim Phelan called the meeting to order at 4:33 pm.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Review of the minutes from the July 23, 2013 meeting.

OTHER BUSINESS/COMMENTS:
There was some discussion regarding Civil Service Rule 8.15. This rule was most revised or added in
' 2010. Chair Jim Phelan inquired whether Mark Peterson, Fire and Emergency Services Chief was aware
of this rule and if wanted to keep it as it was or make any changes. The Fire Chief responded that he
would prefer to have the Civil Service Rules approved as written and review Rule 8.15 at a later date.
