Chair,lim Phelan called the meeting to order at 4:30 pm.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Review of the minutes from the March 26, 2013 meeting.

OTHER BUSINESS/COMMENTS:
Firefighter Randy Sheffer presented that when Fire District#25 merged with the City in 1995,there was a loss of a
station and he was demoted along with three others from the position of Lieutenant to a the position of
Firefighter. He stated that he was not placed on a reinstatement list during that time. He continued to say that
after the merger with Fire District#40, he had reviewed the legalities of that merger and felt he should have been
put on a reinstatement list.
The Civil Service Commission recommended for Firefighter Sheffer to submit a letter to the Commission with any
request that he may have regarding this issue.
