Ben called the meeting to order at 10:00 A.M., attendance was taken, minutes of previous meeting were read, corrections were noted and minutes were approved. Ben had stated at last meeting that he would distribute forms far committee selection consideration. There are so many members absent from this meeting he will postpone ' distribution until the ne�t meeting. Committee members will be able to sib up for their choice of committee but this year the comtnittee members will select their o�m chair person. - 'I'�EASUR�R I�P�RT: Sandy Polley e�cused from this meeting, no treasurer report. RECREA�FON SUPERVFSE3R— Shawn Daly • Shawn had planned to acknowledge Rose Warren and the years of.service she has given to the Renton Senior Activity Center. Her being absent postponed this acknowledgement. • Shawn will be going to the Renton Fire Station tomorrow Dec. 18th. February is Heart Health Month and Shawn has been selected to talk about the centers blood pressure program. � A letter was sent to the Mayor with 13 signatures representing Dorothy Cook's ceramic class. The letter��as in protest of the class losin�hours. The Mayor responded to the letter. RECREA'I'ION CO��ZI3INATQR—Debbie Little The upcomina events for week of December 17. 2012 are as follows. ' ■ HIBA representative on December 18�'. � I�Tintendo WII on December 18�` � Metro will be providing Orca cards on the 18�'. ■ Dan Kellogg will be providing legal information on the 18th. E Book Club meets on the 19tn � � a A trip to Benaroya Hall on December 19�' for a concert by the Irish Tenors. e The center is open New Years Eve day. Old Business: Pat Baylor gave status on the issue of service dogs. Dorothy Cook; Marge Reep and Pat are researchinj t1llOUbh the ADA«�eb site regulations regarding service �Q�S.
