Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 21 , Title I`J, Code of General Ordinances
entitled Dangerous Building Code and the complaint of the Building Director
dated April 12 197 1 fixing the date, time and place of a hearing to
hear testimony of the Building Director and all parties in interest, said hear-
M� N ing was held in the Council Chambers, Renton, Municipal Building, Renton, Wash-
. ington beginning at 10 o'clock A .M. , May 4, 1971 .

After hearing evidence from the above parties present and reviewing the corres-
pondence, the Board finds :
1 . THE COMPLAINT OF THE BUILDING DIRECTOR IS JUSTIFIED.
2. THE SUBJECT BUILDING IS A "DANGEROUS BUILDING" AS DEFINED IN SECTION
4-2102 OF THE DANGEROUS BUILDING CODE AND IS THEREFORE A PUBLIC NUISANCE.
3, IT IS NOT REASONABLE TO REPAIR OR REMODEL THIS BUILDING WITHIN THE STANDARDS
ESTABLISHED IN SECTION 4-2103 OF THE DANGEROUS BUILDING CODE.
THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS HEREBY ORDERS:
1. THE BUILDING TO BE VACATED BY OCTOBER 15, 1971, AND DEMOLISHED BY
OCTOBER 30, 1971.
2. IN ORDER TO CONTINUE USE OF THE BUILDING TO OCTOBER 15TH THE WATER SERVICE
BE MADE SAFE FROM CROSS CONNECTIONS AND THE WIRING ON THE EXTERIOR OF THE
BUILDING BE INSPECTED BY THE ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR AND APPROVED FOR SAFETY.
Parties affected by this Finding of Fact and Order have the right of appeal to
the Building Appeals Commission at the office of the Building Director within
thirty (30) days of the date of service of this decision or order.
