AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into between
the CITY OF RENTON, King County, Washington, a Municipal
Corporation, hereinafter referred to as "City" , and the
84th AVENUE SOUTH CO-OPERATIVE WATER DISTRICT, INC. , a
non-profit corporation, under the laws of the State of
Washington, hereinafter referred to as "District" ,
WITNESSET H:
THAT WHEREAS, the District has heretofore
acquired and been the operator under franchise of a cer-
tain water distribution facility, and
WHEREAS, the City is now in position to oper-
ate and maintain said distribution system as a part of
its water system, which operation the members of the
District have concluded would be advantageous to the
District and the individual members thereof, and
WHEREAS , agreement has been reached between
the District and the City whereby the District will
assign, set over and convey all of its assets consisting
of pipelines, personal property, and cash reserves in
return for the City assuming ownership, operation and
maintenance of said assets ,
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby agreed by and
between the City and the District as follows :

1. That the District will assign, set over
and convey to the City all right , title and interest of

the District in and to the existing pipelines heretofore
constructed, installed, operated and maintained by the
11, District , and that the City will accept the ownership

of said pipelines and henceforth and thereafter assume
sole and complete liability and responsibility for the
operation thereof. That all users therefrom shall there-
after be considered as users from the City and shall pay
the same charges as all other users from the City, and
be entitled to the same privileges and opportunities
for water consumption as govern and regulate all uses
thereof.
2 . That the District shall further assign
and set over to the City all of the presently acquired
reserves of the District in the amount of approximately
$ 11 ,074. 24 , together with all personal property
and equipment required by the District for operation
and maintenance of said distribution system.
3. That in consideration of said assignment
of pipelines , personal properties and assets , the City
does hereby agree that it shall , without further expense
to the District , or to the residents thereof , install an
8 inch water main along 84th Avenue South from South 132nd
Street to South 124th Street , and on South 124th Street
from 84th Avenue South to 88th Place South to connect with
the existing Renton 8 inch water main in such manner as to
form a loop connection.
4. That upon conveyance by the District to
the City of all said existing assets of the District ,
the District shall be dissolved without further proceeding .
