ORDINANCE NO . 2932
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON , WASHINGTON, VACATING
A PORTION OF COUNTY ROAD NO . 80 (THIRD AVENUE EXTENSION)
A PUBLIC STREET, AS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREINBELOW

C7` WHEREAS a proper petition for vacating a portion of County

N Road No. 80 (Third Avenue Extension) was duly filed with the City Clerk

O on or about February 18 , 1975 and said petition had been signed by owners

representing one hundred percent of the total frontage upon the portion
of said street to be vacated, and
WHEREAS the City Council by Resolution No. 1968 passed and
approved on March 17 , 1975 , and after due investigation did fix and
determine the 28th day of April, 1975 at the hour of. 8 : 00 P.M. in the
City Council Chargers of the City of Renton to be the time and place for
public hearing thereon, and the City Clerk having given due notice of
such hearing in the manner provided by law, and all persons having been
heard appearing in favor of or in opposition thereto; and
WHEREAS the Department of Public Works and the Planning
Department of the City of Renton having duly considered said petition
for said vacation, and having found same to be in the public interest
and
and for the public benefit:/no injury or damage to any person or
properties will result from such vacation;
NOW THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF RENTON , AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : The following portion of street , to-wit :
As described on Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and
incorporated herein as if fully set forth
• BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY VACATED, subject however to payment by Petitioner-
owners of the sum' of $210 . 00 pursuant to RCW 35 . 79 . 030 and the City' s

Ordinance No. 2349 which sum does not exceed one-half (1/2) the
appraised value of the area so vacated.
SECTION II : This Ordinance shall be effective upon its

�; passage, approval and five days after its publication.

A certified copy::of this Ordinance shall be filed with the
CD Office of Record and Elections , King County, and as otherwise provided
by law.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 12th day of May, 1975 .
