ORDINANCE NO, 2958
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
VACATING A PORTION OF LAKE VIEW BOULEVARD, A
CD PUBLIC STREET, AS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
CD BELOW.

CD WHEREAS a proper petition for vacating a portion of
Lake View Boulevard, Renton, King County, Washington, was
duly filed with the City Clerk on or about April 14, 1975
and said petition having been signed by owners representing
100% of the property abutting upon •such street sought to
be vacated; and
WHEREAS the City Council by Resolution No. 1996
passed and approved on July 7, 1975, and after due investigation,
did fix and determine the 28th day of July, 1975 , at the
hour of 8 : 00 P.M. in the City Council Chambers of the City of
Renton to be the time and place for a public hearing thereon,
and the City Clerk having given due notice of such hearing in
the manner provided by law, and all persons having been heard
appearing in favor or in opposition thereto; and.
WHEREAS the Department of Public Works and the Planning
Department of the City of Renton having duly considered said
petition for said vacation, and having found same to be in the
public interest and for the public benefit, and no injury or
damage to any person or properties will result from such vacation;
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I: The following described portion of street,
to-wit:
See Exhibit "A"
BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY VACATED., subject to payment unto the

City of Renton by the abutting owners thereof, or their assignees ,
of the total sum of $721 . 42. which sum does not exceed one-half
of the appraised value of the area so vacated.

O SECTION II : This Ordinance shall be effective upon

fes- its passage, approval and five days after its publication.
A certified copy of this Ordiance shall be filed with
the Office of Records and Elections , King County, and as otherwise
provided by law.

All that portion of Lake View Blvd. , having a width of 60 feet,
lying between lots 349 and 350, C. D. Hillman's Lake Washington
Garden of Eden Division No. 5 as recorded in Volume 11 of plats,
cx page 83, records of King County Washington and lying southwesterly
of a line running in a northwesterly direction from the most northerly
CO corner of said Lot 349 to the most easterly corner of lot 350 and
northerly of the northerly right-of-way margin of S.E. 110th Street
(Morgan Avenue) extended.
