ORDINANCE NO -3150 •
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
VACATING A PORTION OF ALLEY WITHIN BLOCK 12
IN THE PLAT OF CAR WORKS ADDITION TO RENTON,.
AS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BELOW
• •WHEREAS a proper petition for vacating a portion of.: a
certain alley within abck 12 in the Plat of Car Works Addition to
`°c. Renton, King County, Washington, was duly filed with the City
CD Clerk on or about April 28 , 1976 , and said petition having been
signed by owners representing more than two-thirdsof the property
abutting upon such alley sought to be vacated; and
WHEREAS the City Council by Resolution No. 2038 passed
and approved on May 17, 1976 and after due investigation, did fix
and determine the. 28th day of June, 1976, at the hour of 8 : 00 P.M.
in the City Council Chambers of the City of Renton to be the time
and place for a public hearing thereon, and the City Clerk having
given due notice of such hearing in the manner provided by law,
and all persons having been heard appearing in favor or in opposition
thereto; and
WHEREAS the Department of Public Works and the Planning
Department 'of the City of Renton having duly considered said petition
for said vacation, and having found same to be in the public interest
and for the public benefit, and no injury or damage to any person
or properties will result from such vacation;
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I: The following described portion of alley
within Block 12 in the Plat of Car Works Addition to Renton, to-wit :
All tht portion of a 16 foot wide alley lying between
the southerly line o+f lots 1 and 2 on the north and
the northerly lines of lots 17 and 18 on the south,
said lots being within Block 12 , Car Works Addition to
• ' Renton as recorded in Volume 15 of Plats , page 474
records of King County, Washington and lying easterly ,
of the easterly right-of-way margin of Factory Avenue
- :North and Westerly of the westerly right-of-way margin
of North 3rd Place .
As situated within the NW 1/4 OF Section 17 , Township
23 North, Range 5 East, W.M. '
