PUNT SOUND POWER & LIGHT CO .'r1`1Y, a corporation organized and existing
under the laws of the State of Massachusetts, herein called "Grantor", for a
valuable consideration in hand paid hereby grants to the City of Renton, a
x municipal corporation of the State of Washington located in King County in said
:5 state, herein called "Grantee", the right to construct, reconstruct, maintain
and operate upon the real property described below, a concrete building to be
used to house a booster pump for use in connection with the municipal water
system of said Grantee. The said real property is described as follows, to-wit:
That portion of Grantor's Shuffleton-Renton Transmission Line right
of way in the SE 1/4 of SE 1/4 of Section 8, Township 23 North,
Range 5 East, :`:.I.:., more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the East line of
said right of way being also the West line of State Highway
No. 2 with the South line of S. E. 125th Street produced
:lest, thence Northerly along said East line of right of way
to the center line of S. E. 125th Street produced West;
thence West 10 feet, thence Southerly parallel to and 10
feet distant from said East line of right of way to the
South line of S. E. 125th Street produced West; thence East
along last named line to the point of beginning.
This easement shall continue in full force and effect so long as the said
building shall be used for the purpose above specified and for no other purpose
whatsoever. Upon termination of such use the Grantee, by accepting this easement,
agrees to execute and deliver to the Grantor a full release in writing of the
rights hereby granted.
As further consideration for this easement, the Grantee antes hereby covenants -
and agrees to save and hold harmless the Grantor from all loss or damage which may
be suffered by the Grantor on account of anything done or omitted by the Grantee
in the exercise of the rights hereby granted.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the Grantor has caused this instrument to be executed by
its proper officers thereunto duly authorized and its corporate seal to be hereto
affixed this 6 T 'day of May, 1946, and the Grantee has caused is ins ent to
be executed by its Mayor and attested by its City Clerk this 41( day of
1946, pursuant to authority granted by Resolution No, 4,53 heretofore adopted by
the City Council of said City.

On this 6 'T/f� day of May, 1946, before me
personally appeared C. F. T237711. and WALTER S. ZACHARY, to me known
to be a Vice President and an Assistant Secretary, respectively, of
the corporation that executed the within and foregoing instrument, and
acknowledged the said instrument to be the free and voluntary act and
deed of said corporation for the uses and purposes therein mentioned,
and on oath stated that they were authorized to exeucte said instrument
and that the seal affixed is the c arporate seal of said corporation.
