WITNESSETH, that first party, in consideration of ONE AND N0/100 DOLLAR ($1.00) , �\ receipt of which is acknowledged, and the benefits which will accrue to the land of A.,) first party by the exercise of the rights herein granted, do hereby remise, release and forever quitclaim unto second party, its successors and assigns, and easement and . right-of-way for the purposes hereinafter stated, over and through, under, along and i\ across all or any part of that certain parcel of land situate in King County, State of Washington, described as follows: A strip of land 20 feet in width adjacent to the North Bank of Cedar River contained in the right-of way of Williams Street, in the City .of Renton in the N.W. i of Section 17, Township 23, N.R. 5 East of W.M. also a strip of land 20 feet in width adjacent to the north bank as well as a strip 201 in width adjacentto the south bank of said Cedar River contained within the right-of-gray of Logan Street, all in the City limits of the City of Renton - in the N.E., quarter of section 18, Town- ship 23, N., R. 5 East of W.M. Said easement and right-of-stay are for the following purposes: The right to enter upon the above-described land to construct, reconstructs maintain and repair a bank protection and/or other flood control works, including all appurtenances thereto, together with any enlargement or reconstruction thereof, and to trim, cut, fell and remove all such trees, brush and other natural growth and obstructions as are necessary to provide adequate clearance and to eliminate interference with, or hazards to, the structures, improvements or utilities placed on, over or under said land; and included as an appurtenance to said easement is a right of access thereto over any other lands owned by first party. It is understood and agreed that second party and/or the United States, their contractors or agents, shall have the right to appropriate from the land above-described, such timber, rock, earth or gravel as may be necessary for the construction or repair of said bank protection and/or flood control works. The consideration above-mentioned is accepted as full compensation for all damage incidental to the exercise of the rights above granted. To have and to hold, all and singular the said easement and right-of-way together with appurtenances, unto second party, its successors and assigns.
