THIS INDENTURE made thi s q G&:- day of

between COMMERCIAL WATERWAY DISTRICT NO. 2, King County, herein-
after called Grantor, and SEATTLE GAS COMPANY, a corporation,
hereinafter called Grantee,
WITNESSET H:
For and in consideration of the covenants herein contained,
Grantor hereby grants to Grantees and its successors, the right,
privilege and authority to construct, erect, alter, improve, re-
pair, operate and maintain a 2-inch high pressure gas main along
and under the northeast bank of Commercial Waterway District No.
2 property known as Riverside Drive, and to lay service connect-
ing mains to t he properties now under lease from the Waterway
District for commercial purposes.
It is understood that said proposed main will be connected
to an existing main on Williams Street North, and will extend
200 feet southeast from the center line of Williams Street North
on Riverside Drive and on a line 12 inches southwest of the north-
east boundary of said properties of Commercial Waterway District
No. 2, with a service line connecting the main to 810 Riverside
Drive.
It is understood that s aid main will be laid in the place
and subject to the supervision of the engineer of said Commercial
Waterway District; and that Grantee will, upon 30 days written
request from said Commercial Waterway District , re-locate said
pipe line or any portion thereof if such re-location in the
opinion of the Grantor is necessary ore xpedient to the general use
of said Commercial Waterway District or to its tenants and lessees.
Grantee to have the right to enter upon said premises to
operate and maintain said gas line and connecting links, but shall

be responsible for any damages it should cause to Grantor.
It is understood and agreed that this Easement may be re-
voked by Grantor at any time upon 60 d ays notice, and Grantee
agrees thereupon to immediately remove all of said mains from
Grantorts property.
IN WETNESS WHEREOF this instrument has been executed the day
and year first above written.

executed the foregoing instrument, and acknowledged the said in-
strument to be the free and voluntary act and deed of said corpora-
tion, for the uses and purposes therein mentioned, and on oath stated
that they are authorized to execute the said instrument and that the
seal affixed is the corporate seal of said corporation.
