HomeMy WebLinkAboutE 03201913 l 72e sem' u ' Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Railway Co., • (Puget Sound Lines) LEGAL DEPARTMENT SEATTLE, Aug. 14th, 1915 City Clerk, Renton, Wash, Dear Sir, - Soon after the transfer by the Chicago , Milwaukee & Puget Sound Railway Company of all of its property rights to the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Railway Company, there was forwarded to me, for filing in your office, for the purpose of keeping your records clear, the enclosed triplicate copies of a flotice to the City of the transfer, among other properties, by the Puget Sound Railway Company to the St . Paul Railway Company, of Ordinance #142, granting to the Puget Sound Railway Company the right to lay, construct, maintain and operate a telegraph line upon a cer- tain public street in your city. Inadvertently this instrument was overlooked and has but re- cently again come to my attention. I wish you would please file the original of this notice and certify and return to me the two carbon copies thereof, together with your bill therefor. ' a \'' , L t3 l) * '1 ' ' . , • AZ.; 1-7 191,5 \ jiri o ------1144-42: TO THE CITY OF RENTON: YOU WILL PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on the 24th day of December, A.D. 1912, the Chicago, Milwaukee and Puget Sound Rail- ►- way Company, then being the owner of all the rights, interests and authority granted by an Ordinance of the City of Renton, No . 142, entitled "An Ordinance granting to the Chicago, Mil- waukee and Puget Sound Railway Company, its successors and as- signs, the right, privilege and authority to lay, construct, maintain and operate a telegraph and telephone line in, along and upon a certain public street or highway in the City of Renton, King County, Washington.", passed by the City Council, and approved by the Mayor of said City of Renton on March 30, 1909, sold, assigned and conveyed all said rights, interests and authority under said ordinance, and all its right, title and in- terest in and to the telegraph and telephone line constructed under and by virtue of said ordinance, to the Chicago, Milwaukee & St.Paul Railway Company, a corporation of the State of Wiscon- sin.
