Dear Sir:
I mail you herewith brief statement of
the conditions under which the City of Seattle
will permit the City of Renton an easement to lay
down and maintain a sewer on lots 16 and 19, Blks .
8 and 9, Original Plat of Town of Renton.
I enclose three copies of this agree-
ment for signature by the City of Renton; two of
which you will please return,and the other you
may retain._ — - -

The City of Seattle will permit the City of Renton
to lay down and aeintain a sewer on lots 18 and 19, Elks.
8 and 9 Original Plat of Town of Renton, under the follow.
ing conditions , towit :
The City of Renton guarantees not to disturb or injure
the pipe line of the City of Seattle , and in case nay damage
comes to the said pipe line, either from the installation or
operation of said sewer, the City of Renton hereby agrees to
pay to the City of Seattle full compensation fox each damage.

We, the undersigned, being the owners according to the
records in the office of the Auditor of King County, Washington,
of the following described property, to-wit:
Lots eleven (ii), Twelve (12), Thirteen (13), Fourteen (14),
Fifteen (15), Sixteen (16), Seventeen (1'7), Eighteen (18), Nine-
teen (19 ), Twenty, (20), in Block dight; Lots Ten (10), Eleven
(11), Twelve (12), Thirteen, (13), Fourteen (14), Fifteen (15),
Sixteen (16), Seventeen (17), Eighteen (18) , Nineteen (19 ) in
Block Nine; all in the Original Plat of the Town, now part of the
City of Renton, King County, Washington, do hereby grant unto the

City of Renton, a municipal corporation existing/ander the laws
of the State of Washington, its successors and assigns, the right
to lay, construct and maintain a sewer in upon and across the
West end of Lots eleven (11) to Twenty (20) Inclusive in said
Block Eight (8) ; and to lay, construct and maintain a sewer
in, upon and across the West end of Lots Ten: to Nineteen in-
clusive in said Block Nine forever.
