19by and between PUGET SOUND POWER & LIGHT COMPANY, a
Massachusetts corporation, herein called 'Grantors, and THE
CITY OF RENTON, a municipal corporation of 'the State of Wash-
ington, "Grantee',
WITNESSETH :
WHEREAS, a drainage pipe line has heretofore been con-
structed, with the consent of the Grantor, within the strip of
land below described, which pipe is used by the Grantee herein
for street drainage purposes,
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the sum of One
Dollar ($1.00) in hand paid, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
the said Grantor hereby grants to the Grantee, its successors and
assigns, the right to maintain, repair and operate the said drain-
age pipe line for the purpose aforesaid, and as the same is now
laid and constructed, within the following described land located
in King County, Washington, to-wit:
The Easterly Half of that portion of Williams
Street North in the City of Renton (formerly County
Road No. 376) , vacated by Ordinance No. 1146 of
said city, beginning on the North with the inner
harbor line of Lake Washington and continuing
South and East to a line extending northeasterly
and southwesterly across said Williams Street
North, which line is 30 feet Northwest. of and
parallel to the meander line as said meander line
extends across said Williams Street North.
This grant is made upon the express condition that said
pipe line shall, at all times, be maintained by the Grantee, its
successors and assigns, in good repair.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Grantor has caused this instru-
ment to be executed by its proper officers thereunto duly author-

pectively, of PUGET SOUND POWER & LIGHT COMPANY, the corporation
that executed the within and foregoing instrument, and acknowledged
said instrument to be the free and voluntary act and deed of said
corporation, for the uses and purposes therein mentioned, and on
oath stated that they were authorized to execute said instrument
and that the seal affixed is the corporate seal of said corporation.
