KNOW ALL MEN B? THESE PRESENTS* That the DEFENSE PLANT COMBAT/ON, a
corporation created pursuant to an Act of Congress entitled !Reconstruction
Finance Corporation Act, as amended,* being the record owner of the property
hereinafter described, for a good oonsideratton hereto, grants without warranty,
express or implied, to the C1TT OF BENTON, a municipal corporation of the State
of Washington, an easement to construct, operate and maintain a public street
and highemy over and across the following described property situated in King
County, Washington, to wit r
•
A strip of land 10 feet wide, being the easterly 10 feet along
Blocks 1, 8, 9 and 18 of the C. H. Admits Lake Washington P"1st,
as of record in the office of the County Auditor of King County;
also the easterly 10 feet of that portion of Government Lot 1,
Section 7, Township 25 North, Renee B East, W.Y., lying westerly
of Williams Street North, said strip of land extending North
1° 10* West from the South line of said Government Lot 1, a dis-
tanoe of 615 fest.
The specific details of said street and hig2eray are particularly shown
in red on that certain map of definite location now on file and of record in the
office of the Director of Highways at Olympia, Washington, and entitled !Aceees
City Streets to Boeing Asssably Plant in Renton, Eighth Avenue N. and Williams
Street N. - Paving, King County,' end bearing date of approval December 51, 1941,
copy of which map is hereunto attached, referred to and by such reference incor-
porated herein and made an integral part hereof.
Also, the permit to extend street and highway embankments along the
aforesaid 10-foot strip as indicated in yell ce on said map hereunto attached.

Dear Sirs
There is transmitted herewith an easement
executed by the EXecutive Vice—President and Secretary
of Defense Plant Corporation, conveying to the City of
Renton an easement to construct, operate and maintain
a public street and highway over and across a strip of
land along Blocks 1, 8, 9 and 16 of C. H. Adsit'a Lake
Washington Plat.
The request for the execution of this easement
was forwarded to this office by the State Highway
Department with the request that, when the easement was
executed, it be forwarded to you.
