ORDINANCE NO. 1277
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, VACATING THE
ALLEY RUNNING EAST AND WEST IN THE CENTER OF BLOCKS THREE AND FOUR,
AND THAT PORTION OF LAKE STREET LYING WEST OF THE SAID BLOCK THREE,
IN RENTON REAL ESTATE COMPANYtS FIRST ADDITION TO RENTON.
WHEREAS, a petition duly filed by the City- Clerk of the City
of Renton, Washington, for the vacation of the property hereinafter
described, and whereas, Resolution No. 679 of the City. of. Renton, Washington,
passed on ,the first day of April, 1947, directing that notice thereof be
posted as required by law and whereas, said notices have been posted and
the matter coming on regularly to be heard on this 20th day of May, 1947,
and there being no protests against the same;
The City Council of the City of Renton do Ordain as Follows :
SECTION 1: Therefore, be it resolved_ by the City Council of the
City of Renton, that the following described strip of land, to wit:
The alley running east and west in the center of Blocks
Three and Four, and that portion of Lake Street lying
west of the said Block Three, in Renton Real Estate
Company's First Addition to Renton, King County, Washington.
be and the same is hereby vacated.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
five days from and after its passage, approval and legal publication
as required by law.
Passed this 20th day of May, 1947.
