AN ORDINANCE OF: THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
VACATING A CERTAIN PORTION OF SOUTH 123RD STREET
IN THE CITY OF RENTON, KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON
3 WHEREAS a proper petition for vacating a certain portion of

street hereinafter more particularly described was duly filed with the
City Clerk on or abort December 9 , 1969 , and said petition had been
signed by the owners of more than two-thirds of the property abutting
upon such portion of street sought to be vacated; and
WHEREAS the City Council by Resolution No. 1657 approved on
January 5 , 1970, and after due investigation did fix and determine
the 2nd day of February, 1970 atthe hour of 8 : 00 P.M. in the City
Chambers of
the Cityof Renton to be the time and place for
Council
public hearing thereon; and the Clerk having given due notice of such
hearing in the manner provided by law and all persons having been
heardappearing a earin in favor of or opposition thereto, and

WHEREAS the Planning Commission having duly considered said
petition and said vacation as hereinafter more particularly described
and same being found to be in the public interest and for the public
benefit and no injury or damage to any person or properties will
result therefrom, and
WHEREAS the City Council caused to have made an appisal
of the property sought to be vacated as provided for in City of Renton
Ordinance No . 2349.;
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : The following described portion of South 123rd
Street, to-wit:
All that portion Of Som 123rd Street within the Plat
of Latimer' s Lake Park Addition, as recorded in volume
18 of plats, page 63 , records of King County , Washington,
lying between the Southerly margin of Northwest 7th
Street (formerly South .122nd Street) and the North line
of Lot 3 , Block 1, Woody Glen Addition, as recorded in
Volume 47 of plats , pages 91 6 92, records of King County,
Washington.

BE AND THE. SAME IS HEREBY VACATED subject however to a ten '-D

within sixty. (60) days from date hereof.
SECTION TT: • This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its. passage , approval and legal publication
as provided by law. A certified copy of this Ordinance shall be filed
with the -King County Auditor' s office and as otherwise provided by
law.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 2nd day of March , 1970 .
