WHEREAS a proper pet:'.":ioan for vacating a certain portion of street as
herein more particular?y deseri d 1:7s3 duly filed w•i tb the City. Clerk on or about April
10, 1968, and said petition -;i u '-ce signed by the owners ofI more than two-thirds

of the property abutting upon e-:,.h portion of street sought to be vacated;and

WHEREAS the City Council by Resolution Pio. 1541 approved on May 6, 1968
and after due investigation did fix and de ;ernine the 3rd day of June, 1968 at the
hour of 8:00 P.M. in the City Col Chzmbors in the City Hall to be the time and
place for public hearing thereo,;a; and t.ne Clerk having given due notice of such hearing
in the manner provie.ed by 1.zw and c: ch notice has bean duly given and published and all
persons having been heard a.p t e ring in favor of or in opposition thereto; and
W'r'.E` tS the Panning Commission having duly considered said petition and
said vacation as hereinafter core particularly described being found to_be in the public
Interest end for the public benefit., subject to the terms and conditions hereinafter
stated, and no injury or damage to any person or properties will result therefrom, and 1
WHEREAS the City Council caused to have made an appraisal.of the property
sot ht to be vacated as provided for in City of Renton Ordinance No. 2349 and such report

fairly reflecting the interest of the City in and to such property to be vacated and the
value thereof; NOW THEREFORE

SECT.' II: The following described portion of property, to-wit:
'That portion of 10th Place located between the Westerly margin of
"J" Street and the Westerly production-of the Northerly margin of "K"
Street all situated in Renton, King County, Washingi'on,
RE AND THE SAKE IS HEREBY VACATED, subject to payment unto the City of Renton by the
abutting ones thereof, or their as!ignPee, of the tote. sum of $8627.62, Eight
thousand six hundred twenty-seven dollars and sixty-two cents? - `
which sum does not exceed one half of the appraised
value of the City's interest in the area so vacated; -ANN
