AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, VACATING FORTION OF
COUNTY ROAD #34 LYING WITHIN TRACT 183 OF C. D. HILLMAN'S LAKE
WASHINGTON GARDEN OF EDEN, DIVISION ID. 3, RENTON, WASHINGTON.
WHEREAS a proper petition for vacating a portion of a certain street as herein-
after more particularly- described was duly filed with the City Clerk of the City of Renton
on or about June 29, 1964, said petition being signed by the owners of more than two-
thirds of the property abutting upon said portion of the street sought to be vacated; and
WHEREAS the City of Renton by !resolution No. 1261 and after due investigation
did fix and determine the 24th day of August, 1964; at the hour of 8:00 p.m. in the Council
Chambers of the City of Renton to be the time and place for public hearing thereon, and
directed the Clerk to give notice of such hearing in the manner provided by law; and such
notice having been duly given and published and all persons having been heard appearing
in favor or in opposition thereto, and
WHEREAS it has been found and determined that such vacation is in the public

Cr) interest2-for the public benefit and no injury or damage to any person will result
c=> therefrom, NOW THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED DY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The following described"portion of street, to-wit:
That portion of County road ;O34 lying in the southeast
quarter of Tract 183:of C. D. Hillman's Lake :•Iashington
Garden of Eden, Division No. 3, all situate in Renton,
King County, Washington,
BE AND THE SANE IS HERBY VACATED, SUBJECT to a 10-foot easement for utility and other
:public purposes and said easement being centered within said right of way hereinabove
described, which easement is hereby retained by- the City for the aforesaid purposes.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, approval and legal publication as provided by law.
