Del Guzzo, doing business as NORTHWEST WATER COMPANY, (hereinafter referred to as grantor), and the City of Renton, a municipal corporation, W I T NESSE T H : WHEREAS, Northwest Water Co., Inc., was a Washington cor- poration, owning and operating a water company in King County, Wash- ington, and whereas said corporation did, on August 20, 1945, pass a resolution directing the voluntary dissolution of said corporation and electing E. W. Oldham as Liquidating Trustee, and whereas thereafter said Liquidating Trustee did by deed, bill of saleand transfer, convey and transfer to said Marie D. Del Guzzo all of the properties and assets of said Northwest Water Co., Inc., aV, whereas thereafter said Marie D. Del Guzzo did conduct and carry on said water business as a sole trader under the firm name and style of Northwest Water Company, NOW THEREFORE, KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS That the said Marie D. Del Guzzo has, and by this instrument does, hereby sell, transfer, assign, convey, and set over unto the said City of Renton all of the personal property, both tangible and intangible, and all of the real property, franchises, rights and privileges, arid all of the assets, whatsoever belonging to and forming a part -of said Northwest Water Company, and without in any way limiting the generalities of the foregoing, particularly and especially the following: ITEM I. The exact description of said Pumping Site is to be supplied by grantor and separate deed given covering said pumping site, and the well site mentioned in the following paragraph "B" . B. Well Site located on Government Lot 7 in Section 17, Township 23 North, Range 5 E. W. M., King County, Washington. The exact description of said well site is to be supplied by grantor and separate deed given covering said well site. C. Franchise No. 259 running for a period of twenty- five (25) years from September 20, 1943 (covering Windsor Hills Addition) .
