General Conditions —City of Renton Standard General Conditions 5. Project Scope of Work—Dean Koonts, HBB Landscape Architecture a. Fabricated Structures: Trellis &Pavilion/Gazebo; Railing. b. Site Furnishings: Play Equipment, Benches, Fitness, & Tables - lead times can be 8 to 10 weeks; Light fixtures lead times can be 6 to 8 weeks. c. Playground Surfacing: Temperature and weather dependent requirements. d. Light poles: Reset bases, vaults and wires; base covers on all throughout the park. e. Decorative Mist Feature: some building pump room retrofit needed; commissioning and programming important. f. Pathways: ADA compliance critical. g. Pervious paving: temperature and weather dependent requirements. h. Public Art—coordination with artist on installation of art, schedule TBD. i. Irrigation retrofit and irrigation controller. 6. Special Conditions/Construction Access—Alan J. Wyatt, Capital Projects Manager, PPNR a. Work Hours i. Monday—Friday 7:00 am to 8:00 pm ii. Saturday 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, only with approval of Owner iii. Sunday & Holidays —no work. b. Site Access i. Entire Park closed and fenced off. ii. Fenced areas —Phase 1 and Phase 2 areas. Access by park staff for maintenance of phase 1. c. Project Schedule d. Contractor Staging Area i. Staging area provided through Owner. Location to be determined. e. Special Material Testing/Inspections i. Special Material Testing & Inspection Firm provided by Owner. ii. Contractor shall coordinate and schedule all special testing and inspections. 7. Questions a.
