QUITCLAIM DEED FOR STREET PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the PACIFIC COAST R. R. CO. , a Washington corporation,
Grantor, by that certain letter agreement dated the 1st day of
February, 1966, as amended on February 21, 1966, agreed to convey
to the CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, a municipal corporation, Grantee,
for street purposes, the lands hereinafter described subject to the
terms and conditions outlined in said letter, as amended, NOW,
THEREFORE,
Grantor, for valuable consideration, CONVEYS and QUITCLAIMS
to Grantee, for street, utilities, and other related municipal
purposes, the following described property situated in Renton,
King County, Washington, to-wit:
A parcel of land 80 feet wide, being 40 feet on either
side of the east line of the SW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of
Section 18, Township 23 North, Range 5 E.W.M. , between
the north line of S. W. Seventh Street and a line
drawn 50 feet southerly of and parallel to the center
line of Grantor' s railway track as originally surveyed
and constructed.
SUBJECT, HOWEVER, to the condition that Grantee shall commence
construction over and across said lands hereinabove conveyed of an
extension of Lind Avenue S.W. (formerly 87th Avenue South) to a
connection with Sunset Highway, including the construction of an
underpass or overpass under or over Grantor' s right of way and
tracks, prior to May 1, 1976. If Grantee shall fail to perform
the foregoing condition within the time herein specified, on May 1,
1976 the rights hereinabove granted shall cease and determine and
shall revert to the Grantor, who shall thereupon hold said lands
in the same estate as though this deed had not been delivered.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, said Grantor has caused this instrument
to be executed by its proper officers and its corporate seal to be
hereunto affixed this 5th day of August , 1968.

On this 5th day of August , 1968, before me
personally appeared Clark A. Eckart and R. Paul Tjossem, to me
known to be the President and Secretary, respectively, of Pacific
Coast R. R. Co. , the corporation that executed the within and fore-
going instrument, and acknowledged the said instrument to be the
free and voluntary act and deed of said corporation for the uses
and purposes therein mentioned, and on oath stated that they were
authorized to execute said instrument, and that the seal affixed
is the corporate seal of said corporation.
WITNESS my hand and official seal hereto affixed the day and
year first above written.
