Ic AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, VACATING A PORTION OF SOUTH 128th STREET LYING BETWEEN 91st AVENUE SOUTH AND RAINIEa AVtETUE SOUTH, ALL SITUATED IN RENTON, KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON. as WHEREAS a proper Petition for vacating a certain portion of roadway$ herein- ` -.'ter more particularly described was dulye filed with the City Clerk on or about L'o amber 17, 1967, and said Petition has been signed by the owners of more than thio- thirds of the property abutting upon such portion of roadways sought to be vacated, 'nd whereas the City Council by Resolution No. 1509 passed and approved on December 4, 1967, and after due investigation did fix and determine the 8th day of January, 1968, at the hour of 8:00 P.H. in the City Council Chambers of the City of Renton to be the time and place for public hearing thereon; and directed the Clerk to give notice of such hearing in the manner provided by law and such notice has been duly given and published ' nil persons having been heard appearing in favor of or in opposition thereto; and ,.areas the Planning Commission having duly considered said Petition and said vacation as hereinafter more particularly described being found to be in the public interest -,r ' f e the public benefit and no injury or damage to any person or properties will result th ref rom, and WHEREAS the City Council caused to have made an appraisal of the properties aght to be vacated as provided for in City of Renton Ordinance No. 2349 and the City . -.-::.n.g likewise elected to retain an easement for public utility purposes, NOW THEREFORE BE IT O RDAINW BY THE I:AYO R AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS F07,1.3OWS: SECTION I: That portion of South 128th Street lying between the easterly margin of 91st Avenue South and the westerly margin of Rainier Avenue.
