QUIT CLAIM DEED
RIGHT OF WAY FOR THE SOUTHERLY EXTENSION OF 108TH AVE, S. E.
RIGHT OF WAY FOR THE WESTERLY EXTENSION OF S.E. 112TH ST.
Vicinity of North Renton Interchange

The Grantor, PUGET SOUND POWER & LIGHT COMPANY, a Washington corporation, for
and in consideration of One Dollar, receipt of which is acknowledged, and other
good and valuable consideration, hereby conveys and quit claims to the CITY OF RENTON,
a municipal corporation of the State of Washington, Grantee, subject to the conditions
hereinafter set forth, the following described real property situated in the City of
C? Renton, County of King, State of Washington:
Cl Two parcels of land for the extension of 108th Avenue S. E., referred to
Nherein as Parcel "A", and the extension of S. E. 112th Street, referred to
.,� herein as Parcel "B", in the Southwest l/4 of the Southeast 1/4 and the
Southeast 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 5, Township 23 North, Range
5 East, W.M. in the City of Renton, King County, said parcels described
as follows:
Parcel "A":
A strip of land 60 feet in width having 30 feet of such width on each side
of the following described center line:
Beginning on the North-South center line of Section 5, Township 23
North, Range 5 East, W.M. at the present south terminus of the
center line for 108th Avenue S.E., also being the northeasterly
margin of the Pacific Coast Railroad Company' s Newcastle Branch
Right of Way and the true point of beginning of said extension;
thence S 0°33' 31" west along said center line of Section 5 a dis-
tance of approximately 280 feet to the south quarter corner of Section
5 and the terminus of said right of way for 108th Avenue S.E. Extension;
Less State Highway, if any, lying within said strip.
Parcel "B":
A strip of land 30 feet in width having 15 feet of such width on each
side of the following described center line:
Beginning on the south line of Section 5, Township 23 North, Range
5 East, W.M. at the present west terminus of S. E. 112th Street,
also being the easterly margin of the Pacific Coast Railroad Company' s
Newcastle Branch Right of Way in the Southwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4
of said Section 5; thence northerly along said easterly margin of the
Pacific Coast Railroad Company' s Newcastle Branch Right of Way to a
point 15 feet distant, as measured at right angles from the south line
of Section 5 being the true point of beginning of the above described
center line of said extension; thence N 89°32'47" west (KCAS) parallel
with and 15 feet distant from the south line of Section 5 for a distance
of approximately 105 feet to the east margin of the 60-foot strip des-
cribed in Parcel "A" above, and the terminus of said right of way for
S. E. 112th Street Extension.
The parcels of land above described are a portion of the right of way for Grantor' s
present and future transmission and/or distribution lines, and said parcels of land
are hereby conveyed to the Grantee solely for the establishment and maintenance
of a public highway and the installation and maintenance of utility lines and other
related municipal purposes. As part of the consideration for this transaction, it
is understood that Grantor, its successors and assigns, may maintain, improve, add
to or construct electric lines and related facilities along, under and across the
property herein conveyed, provided, however, that any additions or changes to the
transmission and/or distribution facilities of the Grantor, as well as any facilities
constructed in the future by Grantor, shall not interfere with or obstruct said pub-
lic highway or other utility lines or municipal facilities located within the right
of way of such public highway.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF Grantor has caused this instrument to be executed by its
proper officers and its corporate seal to be hereunto affixed this

Estate Division and Secretary, respectively, of PUGET SOUND POWER & LIGHT COMPANY,
the corporation that executed the within and foregoing instrument, and acknowledged
said instrument to be the free and voluntary act and deed of said corporation, for
the uses and purposes therein mentioned, and on oath stated that they were author-
ized to execute said instrument and that the seal affixed is the corporate seal
of said corporation.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my official seal
